  • Fishing line will degrade with use.
  • The pound-test rating indicated on the label is approximate and is intended as a guideline for estimating how much braid will spool onto your reel.
  • Remember that hybrid lines are 10% to 30% bulkier compared to regular 100% PE products when spooled onto your reel.
  • Braided lines are degraded by high temperatures. When spooling onto your reel, do so at a low speed to avoid frictional heating. We recommend you hold a wet cloth around the line when spooling to maintain a low temperature.
  • Braided lines may fade or bleed color, although this will not affect line strength. The dyes or pigments may transfer to your skin or clothing. If this occurs, wash the affected areas promptly, as the stains will become more difficult to remove with time.
  • The use of line coating material may result in fading or discoloration of the fishing line. Before using any line coating product, always test it on a small section of line to confirm it does not negatively affect the line.
