I was 22 to 23 years old when I used FC SNIPER for the first time. Until then, I used

to use various fluorocarbon lines including competitors’ products. It was shocking

when I used FC SNIPER for the first time.

Normally, fluorocarbon lines are stiff. Due to the stiffness, the line can not be putted

in the spool tightly. I strongly remember that it was really soft and easy to use, and I

thought ‘Is this really fluorocarbon?’ Due to its softness, the line can be would tightly

on the spool and has less troubles. As a result, I can use it much longer compared to

other fluorocarbon lines. Recently I take part in tournaments in the U.S., FC SNIPER

is indispensable even in U.S. tournaments that are really tough.

When I participated in JB TOP50 , I used spinning reel a lot and often used 2LB and

3LB as well. In the U.S. I don’t feel the need for such delicate fishing, so I use PE

lines more often for spinning reel , but I still use FC SNIPER for fast moving lures.

The basic part remains same, but I often use 16LB or 18LB in the U.S. while I used to

use 14LB in Japan. It’s difficult to use stiff fluorocarbon for fast moving lures, but

FC SNIPER has no problem even in big size. When it was renewed 4 or 5 years ago,

the coating on the line surface was changed and it became very smooth. I can say

that it’s silky. I don’t feel any friction with guides when I make a cast. I can cast

comfortably while the line is the strongest.

Needless to say, when I repeat casting and retrieving, it is an overwhelming

advantage that it has no trouble and has excellent durability.

However, when fishing in all situations, there are situations where I need to choose

other lines. For example, in fishing banks, or when high sensitivity is needed in deep,

SHOOTER is recommended. FC SNIPER BMS AZAYAKA with high visibility is

indispensable when I fish at short distance in such as reeds or overhang.
